BEAM SESSIONS
BEAM (Behaviour Emotional Awareness Method) is Bridge the Gap’s unique framework for 1:1 and group sessions. It was created to meet a gap we saw in children’s support, something flexible, relational, and rooted in emotional literacy.
“BEAM sessions help children notice, name and navigate their emotions through safe, relationship-focused support.”
why we fundraise
-
As a non-profit organisation, we fundraise to ensure our service can continue to run. It costs to care well.
-
20% of all fundraising goes towards our core running costs.
-
The remaining funds go into our new Family Support Fund. By May 2026 we hope to have enough so that families can apply if they need help covering the cost of sessions.
-
Our CSR donations also go directly into this fund.
-
Your support also helps us deliver volunteer-led Compassionate Crafts sessions in schools, giving quieter children the chance to access early emotional education. These sessions boost self-awareness, confidence, and wellbeing, reaching children who might otherwise be missed.

Pay it Forward
